FSP is taking place across West Sussex and the Brighton and Hove area. This is partly because Artswork is based and operates in the south and has strong links with various organisations in the region. Sussex also has a number of clearly defined areas of need, providing a strong opportunity for targeting young people with the benefits of FSP.

In initial group sessions between Artswork and the consultants, it was suggested that four teams should operate across the target area for FSP. This would allow a larger amount of potential students to be reached, and keep travel for the students to a minimum. Several smaller groups also allows a more focused atmosphere for the project work. From advice and guidance from Lorna Brown, West Sussex County Arts Development Officer and the Social Services Planning Department, four areas were identified for the project.

Each area acted as a focus for the students recruitment. Once the teams were established, partnerships were developed with the following organisations to provide venues for the teams workshops:
